Aerial view of McAuley Station under construction on Jackson Street.

Construction continues at Mercy Care’s mixed-income family rental community with Pennrose development.

  • Located in the Sweet Auburn district immediately behind the Mercy Care clinic on Decatur Street, McAuley Station will include a total of 170 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.

  • If progress continues at pace, first move-in may occur as early as August 2024.

Amenities at McAuley Station will include a rooftop deck with scenic views of downtown Atlanta, an inviting resident lounge, fitness center, and onsite property management with maintenance.

As a 100% affordable housing community, prospective residents must meet specific income requirements based on federal guidelines for the district’s Area Median Income (AMI). A total of 73 one-bedroom and 57 two-bedroom apartments will be available to residents at 50%, 60%, and 80% of AMI.

In addition to providing much-needed affordable housing in the community, McAuley Station will enable Mercy Care to provide critical housing support.

  • Ten studio apartments will be master-leased to Mercy Care for patients needing transitional or respite housing.

  • Another 30 studios will serve as permanent supportive housing through Fulton County’s Behavioral Health Department
