Each Holy Thursday, Mercy Care hosts a foot-washing event for community members experiencing homelessness. Providers and volunteers cleanse and assess patients’ feet, offer treatment for wounds, and share guidance on proper foot care—critical for those who depend on walking as their primary form of transportation. Guests leave with socks, ointments, and other essentials, along with a moment of compassion and connection that reflects our mission to care for the whole person.
