Support Our Mission
Community Volunteers
Mercy Care is founded on the work of volunteers.
Volunteers with tackle boxes in hand, big hearts, and open minds — reaching out to those most in need. Forty years later, that spirit still drives us. Whether you’re a professional, student, retiree, or part of a group or organization, you can help us bring hope and healing to our community.
Your contribution matters deeply, and we’re committed to making your volunteer experience meaningful and rewarding.
If you are interested in discussing volunteer opportunities, please contact Nicole Smith at NSmith2@mercyatlanta.org.
Please provide her your email address and your phone number.
Opportunities for individuals and groups:
Hygiene Kits
Help us create “small bags to love” filled with essential hygiene products. These kits are always in high demand and distributed by our street medicine and outreach teams every week.
Meal Kits
Food insecurity is real. We need help building and donating 1,500 meal kits per month. Every contribution counts.
Gifts of Warmth Drive & Coat Closet
Support our winter outreach by collecting, organizing, and distributing coats and warm items to our street-bound clients.
Seasonal Events
Join us in making our community events unforgettable! Great opportunity for teens, families, and groups.
Volunteers are needed for:
- Women’s Health Events (Spring & Fall)
