Mercy Care's Mission

Our name is Mercy.
Our spirit is compassion.

At Mercy Care, compassion is more than a word. It’s how we show up for every client, colleague, staff member, and volunteer.

Our values guide us.

Together, they help to create a community of care where hope and healing can take root.

Mercy Care is Atlanta’s only Federally Qualified Health Center with a dedicated Healthcare for the Homeless program.

We accept most insurance plans, Medicare, and Medicaid, and offer a sliding fee scale based on income for the uninsured. As part of Saint Joseph’s Health System and Trinity Health, we provide whole-person care that extends beyond the clinic walls, ensuring dignity, access, and compassion for all.

Our Mission

Furthering the healing ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Care gives tangible expression to Christ’s merciful love by promoting health and health equity and providing compassionate, clinically excellent healthcare in the spirit of loving service to those in need, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.

Our Vision

Mercy Care will provide affordable, compassionate and excellent care to its patients, leading to improved health. Mercy Care will facilitate patients’ access to a network of social services and will stand with them in advocating for their own needs and for a health system that respects and serves all people.
